The CNY SPCA will be opening by appointment only for the foreseeable future. As with many other businesses, we are having trouble finding staff to care for our animals. With the recent hoarding case we have close to 300 animals in our care currently, (many on medication), and more coming in daily. Our current staff is finding it difficult to balance working with visitors walking through the shelter and making sure that our animals are cleaned and taken care of in a timely matter.
